See: In some cases this has been observed when users use the WinZip® utility to uncompress the Installation Manager Setup package.
Solidworks toolbox won;t load install#
I've had seperate issues with winzip recently and switched to 7zip, so if you extracted some install package with winzip, try 7zip instead.
Solidworks toolbox won;t load windows 10#
I would imagine Windows 10 has the latest IE and that is the real root of the issue. Blank installation manager has to do with htmls, so resetting internet explorer settings to default or even setting a different browser as the default for htmls would usually fix the issue. This is what worked for me recently when installing a very old version on Windows 7. The solution to this issue is to right mouse click on the zip and choose "Unblock", then ok and then unzip the files again. When the file was unzipped, the files inside of the zip were blocked. In this particular instance, the user had downloaded a zipped file of the SolidWorks download and the zip was blocked. In one case, the html files in \sldim\lang\english\HTML were blocked with "Security: This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer." This prevented the html files from being run inside of the Installation Manager. This behavior can happen if the html files that are launched within the Installation Manager are blocked and not allowed to run.
